Day 20 in the Knit You Advent Calendar 2014: Vintage Highway

I'm certain that one can not have too many everyday sweaters - well, actually too many sweaters in general! This one has every feature I love for an everyday sweater: relaxed but flattering fit, 3/4-sleeves, longer backside and some garter stitch. And it's grey! Goes with everything and anything.

Vintage Highway

Vintage Highway is a classic raglan cardigan with small details and lovely relaxed fit. The cardigan pairs garter stitch with Stockinette stitch to make the construction stand out. Worked in lovely Primo Sport with a tight gauge, just to make sure the sweater can keep up with the everyday wear it highly deserves!

Yarn: 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7) skeins of Primo Sport by The Plucky Knitter

Needles: US 4 [3.5 mm] and US 2½ [3 mm]

Finished chest circumference: 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50)” [75 (85, 95, 105,

115, 125) cm] + 3” [8 cm] ease from front increases.

€ 4.90

Oh - really love this but living in Denmark it is impossuble to get the Plucky knitter yarn - do you recommed a substitute - or better is it possible to get the Plucky knitter in Scandinavia

True! It's a difficult yarn to get!

Almost any sport weight yarn (merino blends or other) would be a good substitute. Maybe try The Uncommon Thread's Lush Sport!
