spring swingy
For all the gray weather and gray knitting i needed some color. After finding this simple and sweet pattern, i simply had to cast on! I'm so glad i did.
Pattern: Garter Stitch Swingy Sweater by Jenn Pellerin
Yarn: Cascade 220
Needles: 5,0 mm
I love garter stitch, so it's not a big surprise that i loved this pattern as well. Yarn was just perfect, i love this warm orange color, and the wool itself was really soft. (For some reason i have had this idea, that it might be a bit rough.) Too bad the cardigan turned out too small, i have no idea why since i tried it on several times during knitting. My gentle blocking didn't help much, so maybe i should try again. But all in all, nice cardigan for spring!

i want to have him: too!!
the colour: wonderful.
and i went to ravlery.... looking for the pattern..
I love it. Perfect color choice too. I have been feeling the need to knit with orange yarn for sometime now but it doesnt suit me. I will have to find someone to knit for who loves the color. Your garter stitch cardi looks very inspiring too.
