minimalist

Pattern: Minimalist Cardigan by Ruthie Nussbaum
Yarn: Cascade 220 wool
Needles: 4,5 mm

The Minimalist Cardigan has been on my mind for a long time. I'm so happy i finally did knit it, the pattern is simply perfect and beautiful. In the end i didn't follow the pattern much, since i wanted to see if i could knit it in the round and without seaming. It all went well even though there was a few times of doubt. This must be the best thing i've ever knitted.

Ooooh I want to do the same! I've been thinking about knitting this in the round too. Any tips? I love the way yours turned out!

Ooooh, gorgeous! That's exactly how I would like my Minimalist turn out (I haven't started it yet, but now after seeing yours, I might, soon). Beautiful work!

It is really pretty and I love the color you've chosen. Is that moss stitch? Looks like it. I'm knitting something right now with moss stitch and I love the texture very much :)

Thank you, ALL! You are so sweet.

You should all start your own Minimalist... NOW! (If you haven't already...) Everybody needs one - or a few.

Knitting in the round was easy, but i would recommend to knit the yoke/shoulder part flat. It would give that part more clarity and structure, i think.
