Buckwheat

Oh, a new pattern again! It's time for Buckwheat.

Buckwheat is a sailor styled pullover with boat neck. It’s soft, light and easily knitted in one piece from bottom up – suits many styles and seasons. The neckline is shaped with short rows. For sleeves the stitches are picked up from armhole and the sleeve cap is shaped using short rows.

Folded

The pattern for Folded is now available!

This round neck pullover is pleated at the front for more interesting shape. It’s stylish and cozy – all at the same time. The pullover is worked in one piece from bottom up.

I try to post better pictures of Folded soon. These clearly are not good enough for such a lovely little pullover like my folded!

hooray!

Hooray, it’s done! Ready! Finished! And I love my new cardigan.

This yarn is gorgeous, soft and wonderful. The yarn has also given me headache - and it’s by no means fault of the yarn. Out of these skeins I’ve now knitted four (FOUR!) different sweaters and frogged the first three of them. None of the first three were good enough. More like hideous.

But now, now it's all right. The sweater is perfect. Love the cables, the shape, the collar. Only thing is that I might add some fabric to the buttonband for additional structure. HOORAY!

Now I'm ready to defeat my second monster (same yarn, different color, equal amount of frogged sweaters). If I've done it once, I can do it twice! Luckily this yarn holds up for several times of frogging and soaking and re-knitting.

Turmeric

Finally a new pattern available. I've been really happy with this little top and its versatility! It's not only for warmer days, but great layering piece for chilly autumn weather. More summery pictures can be found here.

This little top is easily knitted in one piece from top down. The simple shape with a little modern twist lets the yarn and one big button shine!

My color experiments continue. It's time for some blue. And what a great blue this one is! Lovely shade of deep and dark ink blue - quite hard to capture when the day is grey like today. Yarn was lovely to work with and the fabric is really nice at this gauge.
