The countdown is on! Only 22 days to Christmas.

Waiting for Christmas is special every year and this year is no exception. The first weeks of December might be just about the best time of the whole year! I'm going to dedicate these weeks to all those loose ends, all the many designs that have been waiting, delayed or otherwise forgotten. Or just barely finished! Let's see how many I actually manage to accomplish this December.

First a cute beanie pattern -

summertime

Oh, summer! This warm and sunny Summer!
This beautiful time of year has made me design something out of my gray and graphic box.

First there is Bloomsbury, designed for Finnish Knit Club. This shawl is both quick warm, yet delicate and sweet.

Then there is Fairy Floss, maybe the most romantic and feminine piece I've ever designed! This pattern is initially created for A Verb for Keeping Warm’s Pro-Verbial Yarn Club Spring-Summer 2013.

Maybe it's the colors of the yarns, all of them dyed especially for these clubs - or maybe it's something else, something in the air! Though I can't help myself but to wonder how these designs might look in a gray...

mirror, mirror

More grey and pink! I know, it's been quite a theme this Spring, but wouldn't hesitate to cast-on yet another project in those colors...

Currently available as a Studio Club Kit from Knitculture.com

The “Mirror Cowl” uses a simple slipped stitch technique to create striking motif that’s both subtle an bold! Double it around your neck for warmth, or wear it long to show off the modern textures.

Finished Size: 20 cm deep and 120 cm in circumference.
