summer plum

I'm getting back on track with spring knitting. I have ripped out two whole sweaters - oh, how irritating that always is! But they were not as good as I had hoped. This summer plum is much better.

Love the color and the shiny buttons. The sweater is easy peasy. Not too fancy, but fun enough. Now I think I've had enough of the double-breasted designs for a while. There's been quite many of them lately.

different lines

Oh, it's April. Spring. I have the feeling that I will need my wellies for the rest of the month... While all that brown snow melts.

I have a new scarf/shawl to show you. I think it's great. It belongs to husband now. It's light and springy and soft and really wearable. I've been thinking that I'd like to knit a different stripe scarf/shawl for each one in my family. So two more to go.

hoping for spring

Please, snow, melt away already! We loved you, but enough is enough. I'm really waiting for spring already.

This jacket/cardi helped a bit. Perfect yarn and perfect colour (not that yellow, there's a bit more green to it really!) turned into great spring jacket.

Pattern: will publish later.
Yarn: madelinetosh tosh vintage
Needles: 6 mm
