halfway there

I know it's still August, but looking out from the window it really seems like we've jumped right to Autumn. But to brighten up this rainy and gray day, I have a new shawl for you!

Halfway There

Summer or not, this is the perfect shawl to knit and to wear! It is comfortable and highly versatile, soft and most importantly fun. Play with your favorite colors and suddenly you are halfway there!

Yarn: 2 skeins of Merino Singles by Lioness Arts (100% Merino; approx. 400 yds [366 m] per skein) and 1 skein of Tosh Merino Light by Madelinetosh (100% Merino; approx. 420 yds [384 m] per skein). Approx. 760 yards [695 meters] of fingering weight yarn.

Needles: US 7 [4.5 mm] circular needle.

Finished measurements: 80” [204 cm] long and 14” [35 cm] deep at center.

Note: the stripes are worked with short rows, no intarsia in this shawl!
