It might be a bit too hot for knitting, but the evening will come and the temperature will get bearable again. Then you can pick up some needles and cast on for this fun shawl.
The design is based on the traditional Shetland hap shawl, but it’s only a 3/4 of a square – hence the name, 3/4 hap shawl. Knitted with two skeins of sock yarn, it’s a great pattern for many different color variations.
Finished size: 90 cm/35.5” long at all 3 sides and 120 cm/51” wide.
Yarn: two skeins of sock yarn, approx. 330 meters/ 360 yards of both.
Gauge: 24 stitches and 36 rows in 10 cm/4 inches (in garter stitch)
The gauge isn't crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size.
