There is some magic in handmade. It might be the love or simply the thought in them, but it's magic. And a handmade gift is a happy made gift. That's how I feel.
These whales were little A's idea and a gift for his best friend. We had so much fun making them. They are filled with dry peas, so they are quite heavy and really whale-like - though not that big...
These are really cute, and I like the idea with the pea-filling. I am sure the little ones like the feel of it.

ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about 'handmade.' I like the idea that the time spent creating the item was time spent thinking about the recipient. And too, there's the fact that it's one-of-a-kind.
