hidden

Oh, another pattern for striped shawl is ready - this time with some eyelets and chevron.

Simple yet modern and a bit kitschy eyelet patterns and fun stripes are the key for this lovely garter stitch shawl. The shawl is worked from top down in two sections.

Size: 87”/220cm wide and 24”/60cm at center. The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect finished size and yardage.
Yarn: 770 meters (840 yards) of fingering weight yarn - 385 meters (420 yards) of both colours.
Gauge: 18 stitches and 38 rows in 10 cm/4 inches ( in garter stitch)

Look how beautifully my design for madelinetosh has been styled! Oh, how I love this image. The next ones are my quickly taken photos, right before I had to ship the sample overseas.

I love this yarn and the color is great too! You find the pattern available for purchase here.

Slow Line

1st of August. Monday. Can't help it, but it feels like there's autumn right around the corner. Not yet, but soon. Maybe this pattern will make the transition nice and easy and slow.

Lovely open cardigan for late summer days. It’s light and easy with lots of soothing garter stitch. The cardigan is worked from the top down in one piece.

Finished bust circumference: 30 (34, 38, 42½, 46, 50)”/ 74 (84, 94, 106, 115, 125) cm.
Yarn:  1148 - 1914 yards (1050 - 1750 meters) of Madelinetosh Tosh merino light, or other fingering weight yarn.
Gauge: 23 sts and 32 rows in Stockinette stitch.
