denim

I wear jeans all the time. All the time. When it gets too warm (well, that's rare in this climate) I switch to denim skirt. I do love denim. Sometimes I still hope to have it all somehow differently. This is my attempt to make denim a tiny bit more elegant.

It was hard to capture this denims true nature in the photos. It's not that stiff or heavy, but not too light either. And I love how it's just dark enough. A truly beautiful fabric indeed. The skirt turned out great.

This is beautiful and I really like the length. Did you use a pattern or is it you own creation?

Oh I love that skirt...also want to know if you used a pattern?

I agree - it's beautiful! If you made up the pattern yourself - genius! Could you sell it to the rest of us ;-)

It looks great with the stripey top!

Thank you Caro, Gudrun and Di for your compliments!

What comes to the pattern, I had none. I took the real short way: only some measuring and then I went straight to cutting fabric... But since it's real simple and a bit asymmetric - and the buttons are forgiving - you can do it without a pattern too!

Miksihän minun on mahdotonta saada ommeltua hyvää hametta itselleni. Melkein kademielin katson näitä kuvia.

Blogissasi on kauniita kuvia ja ihania ompeluksia ja neuleita.
